Why should I like you?
We are born free but are everywhere in chains. Thus spake Rousseau.
The chains he referred to are our relationships. The societal covenant that gives rise to our emotions - joy, sorrow, sadness, anxiety, frustration, anger, elation, and what have you!
How do we build and sustain relationships? Why should someone be interested in knowing us for what we are about? Are we interesting?
What makes us interesting? For others, that is. We may be in love with ourselves, the way we are, but do we attract enough right people to us?
What makes us attractive?
